Tim Macartney-Snape is embarking on a national speaking tour in October to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the first Australian ascent of Mount Everest.
Starting in Canberra on October 15, the tour will take in Sydney, Katoomba, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, Newcastle and Melbourne before winding up in Launceston on October 30.

Routesetting will take place on the 45 degree wall at Burnley this weekend. Accordingly, it is expected that this wall will be open for traffic late on Sunday afternoon. The 30 degree wall remains unaffected by this work, and climbers can climb on it without disruption.
