Is it Arapiles after the deluges? The rock looks familiar, maybe King Rat Gully

For those like me that can't think in feet, 165' = ~50m

The rock is basalt. Trentham Falls?

Well if the photographer is using the Herald Sun journalists ruler than I'm surprised they didn't call it 500 ft.

Trenthum Falls is aprox 30m high, and considered the longest single drop waterfall in Victoria. Almost as impressive as Yosemite Falls.

Hi Pat, I dug out this comment from a 2007 thread about climbing at Cobbler and Danndonadale falls. http://www.chockstone.org/Forum/Forum.asp?Action=Display&ForumID=15&MessageID=4811&Replies=1 :
"Having worked in that area for over a year, I would only recommend climbing if:
a) you are sick of living and want to die in a beautiful semi-remote location;
b) you can't find any decent rock anywhere else;
c) you are practicing for climbing in the Dolomites; or
d) you want to give deer hunters a novelty target.
The rock is blobby conglomerate and is not well consolidated. A lead fall may creating more than a plummeting climber."
