Climbing Mt Everest Movie/Photo Presentation
Rock Climbing, Mountaineering, Social Event, Other @ RMIT Casey Plaza Theater (Building 10, Level 4, City Campus)

Description: John Kazanas is a former RMIT postgraduate student and climber/mountaineer who on May 25th 2010 climbed to the summit of Mt Everest. He has spent more than 15 years bushwalking, skiing, climbing and mountaineering.

In conjunction with ROC, John will hold a free photo/movie presentation in order to share his experience and to inspire others to achieve their own "Everest". John will also use the evening to launch his book called "Reaching for Everest"- An inspirational book on climbing Mt Everest and pushing boundaries in life which will be offered on the night for a once only sale price of $20 (cash only).

John is also setting up a volunteer based organisation to take young underprivileged children rock climbing. If you feel like doing some volunteer work this will be your opportunity to sign up on the night.
