Can someone let me know if and when chockstone gets back to being a forum about climbing. Life is to short to wade through all this useless stuff. Trouble is, it's the best information resource we have in Victoria.
Needs major changes in my opinion if it is going to be useful. Democracy and freedom of speech don't really work in this context. Get rid of anonymous contributors and just kick people out if they are causing problems. It's not exactly a violation of human rights is it?

"Symantec said it relayed details to Monster.com so it could disable the compromised recruiter accounts.
But the security company also advised web users to limit their exposure to such frauds by reducing the
amount of personal information they post on the internet.
The same standards should apply on social networking sites such as Facebook that ask for a wealth of
information, O'Brien said."

ahh what a delicious irony....perhaps you could set up an anonymous account and post shit from that just like everyone else does :)
anyway as i've said before the trolls and a *few* random posts on serious threads don't bother me, although M10 and his/her/its clones have been getting a wee bit out of hand recently...but then we can use the thumbs down function....ha...ha...ha..

Neil - I haven't been on the forum for that long but it seems, from what has been said above, that this is a recurring problem with a single user. If it is why don't you ban the IP address???
