Watch the tree, (which may have been burnt to a crisp??), on the 21, it has almost taken me out when I've peeled out of the crack. Definitely a climb to wear a helmet on.....

Expecting to see many photos of bloody arms, legs and torso after you squirm up that monster! :-)
I remember looking at that line 20+ years ago thinking how much a battle that would be to climb. Looking forward to reading your report!

You peeps are waaay too blatant in selling the virtues of this climb and won't get many sane punters as a result, hence bro shortie wanting to give it a go.
Much more subtle to do an M9 and clean aid it, which is much easier and painless to boot. That way the challenge has been cast for the big men to an ocd style-fetishist first free ascent.
Dalai, you should come up and show us how it's done properly but if you stuff up and lose fur and blood we want your pics and trip report so the self measurers can gloat in your misfortune while secretly envying your contribution to the guidebook glory pages.

The 21 is about 11-13m??, but the belay is back another 10 or so metres. You'll be workin hard for about 8-9m.
The 24 thingy is much shorter, maybe 8-10m, and you'll be knackered just gettin off the ground. You can see the angle of it in the first pic I linked. It's the rock in the foreground on the right.

Yeah it was ultra good fun. I could do the first half of it, but then I was totally gassed and couldn't really figure how to move my hands up from a stack with out falling out in the straight section. I spent a lot of the bottom part upside down. I ended up top roping the top section and its good when you can get you left hand out of the stack onto the crimper out to the left.
I had a look around there and there is also another off width that doesn't look to have ever been climbed. The other two that are there were very fun also with heaps of gear.
