I've managed to misplace my rock shoes on Saturday - yellow Scarpa Thunders, about size 40 and well worn. I might have left them on top of Child In Time but they're not there now. Did anyone pick them up last Sunday 3 Aug 2014?
As nature balances itself, we have found a nice young rooster, looks like a fancy breed a bit like a Barnevelder. It's hanging out by the info board at the Frog campground. Will swap for size 40 shoes.
My mobile number is 0429871003, email design@dugfish.com
Thanks,
Douglas

Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall also has a solid recipe in his "Meat" book that we've been using for my father-in-law's roosters whenever they get too numerous or rowdy . Highly recommended, though my daughter now bolts from the kitchen in a dead run whenever she sees me reaching for the brandy and cigarette lighter...
Come to think of it, given these recipes are optimized for older, tougher meat, they might work on the Scarpas as well. Add enough bacon/lardons and it would probably be palatable enough...

... or add a suitable stone while cooking the chook.
When the stone is done, toss the chook and enjoy the meal.
Eh Doug bro, hope you get your Scarpas back.
