as good friend of nick ,he was always curios ,and had told me about more adventurous finishes to bbb ,I think it should be noted he was not off route ,I can make no further comment .

Have a read of his previous posts. He seems knowledgeable enough to be a local climber. I'm not sure why he is dragging this back up again. As far as I knew the route that Nick was on had not been made public knowledge, so I would have been surprised if he had planned to climb it in advance. His climbing partner seemed to confirm that they got off route after the accident.

As I was there on the day of the accident I can very much confirm that we were off route.
I am fairly sure that me_again is just some wanker who wants to troll for already reported information. Unless you have something constructive to say leave this alone.

The original journo apologized personally to several people in the forum by way of phone call.....he just dint realized that the climbing community would take offence and realized the errors of his ways.
