That's great - I get to blame Wendy, who proof read it. She's normally quite a petant about spelling.

We enjoyed our meal last saturday. Do you ever do steak or meat other than chicken?

This weekend's menu includes duck... I've had lamb shanks and steak and all kinds of yummy things Chef Andy prepared.

We have religious beliefs that allow us only to eat animals that walk on two legs, like dinosaurs.

So, if anyone's thinking, these bastards never cater for vegetarians ... actually it's just that I get swept under the table ... Every weekend, I am making vego and vegan dishes, which are available in the display fridge and this weekends choices are:
Carrot and Feta Lasagne (remember Sarah Gara? Of the epic Questions for Sarah thread? She swears this is the best lasagne she's ever eaten. And as she only lives over the road these days, you'll want to rush in before she eats it all up).
Silverbeet and feta quiche
Curried lentil pie (This is vegan! Completely and utterly and really - I should know, I used to be one)

Wendy, we were just discussing the lack of vegetarianness in that menu. Good to know there's the options next time we're out.

Point of clarification. The vego meals are not floor sweepings.

This week's menu..
Yearling grade osso bucco, braised in Italian tomato sauce and served on saffron Milanese risotto.
Country style vegetable soup simmered with lentils and served with oven grilled garlic parmesan sourdough.
Asian kangaroo salad - garden fresh salad, fresh spring vegetables and bean shoots with Thai dressing and cashew nuts.
I can't wait to taste those Asian kangaroos. I wonder if they taste different to ours.
