"The new alpinists. Mountains. They're not necessarily tall but cut out of granite, with muscle of steel, capable of powering them along, sometimes in less than three hours, to the summit of the Eiger via the North Face."

Yep, definitely (Swiss) French gay mag.

Some secret cliff in Eastern Vic?

One arm shot background looks perhaps like Rocklands SA?

Put in the guess the route thread. If people are going to put the effort in they deserve a shot at the trophy

Certainly South Africa - almost certainly Rocklands.

Is it just me or does that lumix ad seem to have been made by a random punter who just really likes his camera?

Deodorant? Oh...when I read "clinical protection" and "wetness & odour", I thought it was something to prevent STI.

There is an article about the "outback" of Victoria in this months Royal Auto (RACV mag) which covers The Little Desert, places further north and Natimuk. It also includes a pic of Greg Pritchard seated at his picture frame of Arapiles.

I just came back from 2 weeks in Tonsai (and Koh Lao Liang)... was in a training course yesterday and they are talking about "challenges" and "teamwork". Anyway, one of the slides had a big picture of a guy doing some overhanging route and it was obviously taken from Cat Wall looking back towards Tonsai Beach!!
