Stoked that Dave and I went to a crag, stayed away from all lines that Claw bolted, first ascented, climbed, attempted, looked at or loitered near. Surprisingly Dave and I both had a good day. Nothing went wrong. No epics.

I'm stoked that Trogster did not significantly hurt himself when he took a groundfall last weekend.
My advice style has now changed,... bugger the niceties, anyone looking to learn aid on Cacophonic Block should do their 1st route there as a toprope!

Not to worry. I just got off the phone with someone who has taken a grounder while aid soloing the M3 there, must be some kinda spooky pultagoost ;). Stoked that I get to sleep on a real bed tonight after doing the razorback for school.

Stoked to have had another AWESOME (colour scheme courtesy of wws) morning up at (the fantastic!) Turtle Rock. Double stoked to discover (yet again) that no matter how many times I boulder at the same spot, with a bit of imagination there's always room for new problems - notably a direct line up the thin seam right of the layback flake (it's the faint right trending line the guy in the following photo has his right hand on):
While I've managed to figure out the wall, the sit start and topout remain to be done - woohoo!!
Also found a new possibility on the highball side (to the left in the photo) of the rock. And I have yet to crack the entire traverse (V4 if you use the top, V6 if you stay in the middle, V8 stays low).

Stoked that I finally got registered on Chockstone.
And stoked that my first ever climbing rope got delivered in the mail yesterday. climbinganchors.com rocks my world (delivery in 2 days, super cheap, and they're giving me a free locking biner because they got one small thing in the order wrong). Thanks Steve!
