Yeh I did, but like any good half-clean junkie I've started justifying a post here & there for good measure...

I've heard that Issue#7 is awesome, and damn close to being on shelves, what's the deal with that Mister Editor Man?

I'm stoked I got my new Wild Country harness and it has nine gear loops.

Also stoked I got a nice big # 5 C4 Camalot.

No more wide crack terror!

Well, maybe a bit.

I'm stoked about my new #5 C4 Camalot too, even if I can't find anywhere to place it carrying the extre weight is sure to make me stronger. Also I'm loving my new Petzl reverso3, best belay device ever.

I'm doubly stoked because I have two super comfy Metolius Big Wall harnesses (and that adds up to 12 gear loops ...)
Heh, heh, heh.

Yes. You could pretty much do what ever you want.

So, you have the fit, trim M9 big wall harness and you have the ' just drank a case of beer and ate 17 Chico Rolls' M9 big wall harness?

Nice!

What you might find, as I have, is that you'll pull on to something, realise how weak and heavy you are, and try and shed weight early. So, the #5 goes in as you "directional piece" for "safety", then back it up with your #11, #12 and #13 hexes.

The key to good lead climbing is mass transfer to the seconds harness as soon as possible. As you climb you get lighter. As the second climbs, they get heavier.

I don't think that's that unusual.

Stoked that despite forgetting about the start of School Hols we got accommodation at Currarong, right out on Point Perp! And the forecast looks awesome!

With Point Perp this weekend, Booroomba next and Piddo last weekend, that's 3 classic trad crags in as many weeks. Christ it's good to be back in the game...

Cheers
