Sorry, should have been more specific. It is the 3rd bolt on the headwall. Being quite short, this is the most awkward place on the pitch and the crux, which is climbed out left. Just a minor point really. Like all routes, finding the way is part of the skill, particularly in more adventurous terrain.
>>The belay: One word. Awkward.
In terms of improvements, it is difficult at the top of this particular cliff. A lower-off was the aim as distinct from a belay and I don't think a system that satisfies both can be met in this location, as the belay would have to be set too far back and an interlinking chain would be pure ugliness.
As per the other comments regarding trolls, one reason I have mostly steered clear of forums is that I have seen some people react in very ugly manners. This occured on a site related to my profession. It was very unfortunate. Critical discussion got lost completely in anger and counter anger. Nothing got achieved and eventually the forum had to be moderated. It is a shame.
I hope that the above information is helpful.
For background I have been climbing for over 20 years, thats what I do in all of my holidays, as many weekends as I can and in as many destinations as possible. I have been lucky to travel around the world and climb on numerous occasions and have seen crags ranging from trash(ed) to magnificent. I have had 2 very close shaves with not being here, but continue to climb. Do it for the enjoyment,.
Regards
Dr

I've played cricket with Mark and climbed with him at The Mill.
He also has a climb in the Black Range named after him: Victim of Circus Pants.

Hi Neil, Hi Bill.
Neil, the undies are always on the outside! Lime green too!!
Have not had time to play cricket for years - too much climbing to do.
Ah, the email address, I have had this from the early days of hotmail, a nickname. It is original I suppose, as is s3024837.

In support of KP (only his email address, not his behaviour) the number is his student number and the email address provided by the university. Definitely a means to track someone down to a legitimate address rather than a hotmail account I believe is his point.

I appreciate Kent's point. It's best if people are identifiable, especially where there is a controversy. I just wanted to vouch for Mark that his profile does correctly identify him.
