Been watching this season unfold daily in the media.
11 dead and a number of rescues, including a Canberra climber still in a bad way in a Nepalise hospital.
Mega queues at bottlenecks like the Hillary Step. Conga lines on fixed ropes elsewhere. How much extra oxygen do they need to cart up to allow for those waiting times?
Expedition companies allegedly advertising no experience necessary and this backed up by an interview with a Sherpa saying some of them don’t even know how to put crampons on!
It’s not climbing. It’s a joke!
Not climbing in the Gramps flavour fits right in!!
PS After the hordes get towed up, are we going to have a glut of motivational speakers doing the circuits?

Looks to me like the uniqueness of this experience is being deflated to the point of worthlessness.
So really there should be some cheap motivational speakers going around.
