Guys I'm from Brisbane and have met Clinton personally and i can say he is a legit gentleman with a slight social condition which im sure can explain some of the odd posts your experiencing here, there are a few like this on Qurank as well. Many years ago i worked at a camping/ army disposal store that he would frequent and is quite nice to talk to, a few thursday nights ago i went to a social climbing night down at kangaroo point which he attends! :)

I hope this just clears a bit up for you folk here!

Cheers,

Andy

Thanks WIlson. There's a pro surfer who has the same condition and is amazingly focused, just like Clinton seems to be. It's better that he ask lots of questions then rush out and hurt himself, or someone else.

He's fitting right into Chocky...

He's no TROLL.
I did some surfing around to find out whether we are victims of an elaborate troll. Clinton is a real person and has an interest in rope related activities. I think we can help him out by giving appropriate advice when necessary.

I too have had the pleasure of meeting Clinton, in person he is much like he is on the various forums he has posted on.

@ODH i met some people from Canberra at Mt York who said you may be keen to come up for the Tyrolean PM me.

Steve - I've got over the nagging doubt about the troll. So next question is....Is the big tyro feasible? How long, quality of anchors (all I see in the pics are small palms!!) etc....

Simey - are you still in? Your PM box is full and I'd rather not do this via email as the Mrs would crack it if she found out why I so desperately need this weekend pass to go to queensland.

Have awoken from 3 years lurking to say live the dream Clint! You are motivating.

Keep up the posts, go the dream team. Can't wait for the trip reports.

Couldn't agree more.

I'm all for shits, giggles and some HTFU (ODH if you haven't yet, count me in your audience, and this is not directed at you), to 'the others':

As Clint seems to have honestly, and persistently, come here looking for your safety advice and acceptance will your jokes be funny if he, or another keen, persistent noob, leaves us with neither?

Can I say, cicada's videos of the rope swing in the park are just about the best thing I've ever seen.
