On a whim I've added a polling function to the forum. If there are bugs please let me know. To create a poll use the "New Poll" (rather than "New Topic") button. Put the polling question into the subject heading, and message body, then add up to eight options. Options might be, for example, "Yes, No, Maybe". Or whatever. Logged on users can then vote once per poll, and choose one of the eight options. Changing your vote is also possible, but you can't vote for more than one option, so word your options appropriately. At the present there is no ability to view who has voted, only the number of votes. I might add viewing votees later if people want it. Or would you rather votes remain secret?
