Seldom has a broken down truck looked so lovely. You should go to Tallarook some time and photograph all the car wrecks at the bottom of the Stolen Car Descent Route.

thank god for digital cameras... that hotham shot is brilliant ... how many times have you gone up there (or somewhere else) and the weather has not co-operated ?? (and I don't mean to imply it just relies on "being there" and anyone who happend to be there would get a shot as good as that...)

Thanks. I'm using a Canon 5D with Canon Lenses: 24-105 F4L, 16-35 F2.8L, 100 F2.8 Macro with the usual bits a pieces (flash, remote release, etc) when required.

Sometimes you travel days, hike miles and get nothing or at least nothing with interesting light even after returning on several days. At other times you stumble across something amazing purely by chance - its all part of the game and makes it all the more fun.
