>biner/draw, difficult but possible
It's not my personal story, but one of the guys I climb with had a draw unclip from itself
during a fall - i.e. the gear biner was left on the gear, while the rope end was still
attatched to the rope, but no longer attathced to each other. The sling ended up on the
rope biner. Moral of the story for me? one piece between you and something bone
shattering = scary, no matter how secure you think it might be.
