Anoying things about el cheapo little "point and click", non-slr, sub $1000 digital type cameras:
- Nowhere to attach a lens hood, meaning every 2nd shot you take has lens flare.
- The quality of the glass & lens is poor. Sure you can get 6+ megapixels, but the photos don't look as good as 3 megapixel shots taken on a real lens.
- Likewise forget a decent wide angle or zoom.
- Takes ages to write to memory, meaning you just lost the action.
- Standard memory card included is too small, meaning more money to upgrade.
- The tiny little LCD useless for telling if the shot is in focus.
- Very limited or no manual functions for correcting exposure.

Good things about same:
- Small enough to clip to harness
- Not the end of the world if you drop it off Mt Rosea.
