go to a bike shop and ask for a bottle of teflon lube. it's purpose on bikes is the chain without getting grit/dust sticking to it. non-oily etc, works well.

I've been using silicone spray on mine which is okay but really cheap. Only rates a C+. There was talk on another thread that the Metolius lube was the bees knees and well worth the $.

Yeh go the specialised Metolious cam lube, it gos on moist then drys out leaving a protective wax, that gives such a Oooh responsive smooth action for your cams to glide so comfortably in those lucious deep inviting cracks. And it wont stain the sheets.

the spray on Teflon is what I use, and the cams are all silky smooth 2 years on, needs 24 hrs to cure,
then no more grit/grime problems to gum up the works, expensive, but worth all the time saved on
maintenance, and trying desperately to trigger a cam midst crux, better than graphite, lasts longer.
