yeah i guess getting a warranty claim is going to be a problem, they'll just say its your fault even if you can't think of any way you did anything wrong to it. it'll be fine for a while, probably just a shorter lifespan as the weakness will probably spread a bit eventually. but i wouldn't stress that the thing is going to bust instantaneously in the state its in. i've got an old harness thats worse than that and am happy getting the odd use out of with an additional tied loop.
