do you mean the Raven bag & a fleece liner? I'm not so convinced about liners - surely they just add weight (400-500g) & bulk. Wouldn't it be better just to get a warmer bag - eg: the -20 rated MEC bag? or even Mountain Hardware make a couple different, light-weight -15 rated bags. Ant - I wanted a bag that would be warm enough for huts in the Rockies in winter, & also for bivvying in the car to get an early start on ice routes in winter. is a -10 rated bag enough for this? I was thinking I would need a warmer bag for this, hence thinking -20deg... I wouldn't carry the bag on climbing routes much, but I would carry it ski touring etc.
