I been climbing for bout 5 1/2 years now and have 5 Pairs.

one sport "el crapola"
scarpa helix
montrail slippers
Madrock Flash
Madrock Mugen

My first pair were a ultra crap pair of "one sport" the sales assitant said "the tighter the better" (cause she had none in my size) They lasted 1 Trip and now reside sans laces on my woodie for when I realy need to practice foot work.

My second pair were scarpa and are very comfortable and all I climbed in for 4 years, still use them for long stuff. Abuse the shit outa them and they are still in good shape.

Montrail Slippers, tight and way to flexible, lasted 3 trips now sit in my car in case is see a onetime cliff that is getting demolished tomorow.

Madrock Flash, the shoe of choice right now

Madrock Mugen, still with hardly a mark on the sole. good for bouldering and sport.
