Thanks for your question. We received this reply from Fixe regarding anchors that are currently installed:

"No need to take them from the walls. Only the ones that have been placed in very unfriendly areas (let's say mediterranean coast) have been found with a bit of rust. Otherwise, should be fine. They would last like INOX hangers. There's no extra danger on them."

We read this to say that they're as strong as they're older SS Hangers (304, not 316) and so for units installed, keeping an eye on them is the best course of action. If any appear to be degrading faster than expected, it would be worth checking them at that point.

We apologise for any inconvenience and worry caused by this action from Fixe, but we do believe, along with Fixe, that it is better to be cautious in this regard.
