I don't get it.... if someone asks to get rescued on the Bard, where does the rescue take them? When I did some mountaineering in France, I paid for insurance to cover rescue. What's wrong with that? Perhaps it could be part of the cost of the beacon? If you don't have a beacon, you're much less likely to call for airborne beverage service. I agree you can't stop stupid. But, I think you're a fool if you try. Just settle for slowing stupid down a little. Stupid likes to have a rest now and again.
