JBM...glad you mentioned this one. I'm colour blind and it's totally f*cking frustrating. I seem to spend most of my time asking my belayer or the person on the next climb where the next hold is. And it's not good if your belayer is also colour blind (about 10% of guys are). Can routes be marked with different shapes of tapes so us CBs can see them?? Some holds from different manufacturers also have swirls or patterns of colours in them...they're great. Oh yeah, 'mood' lighting in most gyms certainly doesn't help.

We're only about 5-10% of the 'market' but for me it was frustrating enough that I didn't routinely gym climb for a long time...and basically now I have to memorise a lot of climbs.

Any other colour blinders out there feel like venting on this one? I've certainly climbed with a few so I know you're out there...
