I recently got back from Thailand climbing in Tonsai and noticed that some of my BD wiregate quickdraws have a bit of surface corrosion. I know it's surface only as the part where the dogbone was on the biner is still nice and shiny. Not sure exactly what the corrosion is but it is a grey colour of various shades from light to almost black. Strangely enough, of the 5 I own only 3 are affected, yet they all saw identical usage. The orange anodized biners are, of course, unaffected. My question is, should I try to clean it, or just leave it as is? I'm pretty sure that there's no need to question the safety of the gear...
