Snuck off to do Sweet Dreams today and saw another party about 3 pitches ahead of us. Then found a bolt plate at one stage, but they were out of earshot. So give me a brand, idea of where it was, description of the pack I saw you with, or something else to convince me it's yours and I'll try to get it to you. If not, it goes in my collection, or maybe goes towards Mikl's next round of wanton destruction^W^W testing.

well it kinda probably is the one carrot on pitch 2, 4mtr from corner pod belay. And ummm..its a pfh, and the bag was red. Yes definately red in my imaginings. Leave it with Kath at the Altitude deli in Blackheath and I will pick it up with my skinny soy decaf. thanks Hughsey

What's the story with that rope anyway? Some kind of dodgy fixed thing to access the high routes on that wall?

i think more than likely a high wind snag. Its not fixed to anything, its just a whole lot of ugly litter.
