Thanks Miguel, I reckon Ill be going at it with a dremel nice and gently. Kind of boggles my mind though.. I mean.. as I said, I'm not afraid that it is going to outright cut the rope, but given all the issues they have had lately and the fact that they are a top company, allowing anything resembling a sharp-edge near a moving, loaded, rope-containing area seems pretty poor form to me. I am annoyed that I feel the need to do any type of modification when it is something that seems so bleedingly obvious to get right in the first place during machining. I want to actually see some other ones and see if its a general problem or if I got a dud.
