I havent modified mine, because i prefer different devices. For TR solo a mini-traxion works really well, and im told(no experience) microscenders are the bomb too! For leading solo, i wont go past a reverso/atc guide anymore! Feeds super smooth for free-climbing, is light, and you probably already have one! But modifying a gri gri wont be a too bad thing. if it works now, you probably wont need to use the whole warranty thing!!
