If you want to be pedantic, it isn't a research paper, but it is a paper. If you going to try and cast doubt on the reputation of the author, I'd suggest that a half-arsed search of the Uni of New Mexico website reflects badly on you, rather than the author. An author search on Pubmed reveals that he is indeed legit. See:

While it is an opinion piece, it's the opinion of someone who is an expert in the field, not some battler on a climbing forum.

This is ridiculous. If you inhale water, it's bad for you. ZnO and TiO in sunscreen is not in an inhalable form.

Sunscreen doesn't necessarily decrease the chance of melanoma. Otherwise, your conclusion is essentially the same as mine, so I'm not really sure what the point of your post actually was. |
