I had worked it out (and then promptly forgot, evidently) but I recall it being essentially loose change.

The most expensive item is the resin - which (depending on whether you go with epoxy or polyester) is ~$80 for 4L of epoxy. Poly is cheaper.

You use a lot more sand than you do resin, so 4L makes many many batches. Our sand just came in a 20kg bag from Bunnings and cost a couple of dollars (unless it's very dry, its best to give it a blast in the oven - Bunnings often store their sand outside). Likewise all the other supplies are handfuls of dollars.

One nice thing about making your own holds that brings the woody costs down is that you can design them to take standard bolts rather than the more expensive socket cap heads (you know the allen key ones). That saves you a lot in bolts as you can just use 20c bolts from the hardware store.
