I am very interested on peoples opinion or examples on how ply panels hold up to the treatment they are put under on climbing walls. I am especially interested in the fact that alot of climbing gyms are using screw-on features and many hold manufacturers are now supplying screw on jibs and holds with in-built screw holes. Between the placement of bolt holes and all these screws, do panels need to be tested or replaced? Will holes begin to appear as holds rip off with sections of ply or is this going to take 50 years?! Cheers for your thoughts... After-thought - Do people use screw-ons on fiberglass walls?
