i dont know about the rock empire cams but the cams branded as rock and run cams are made by wild country. they used to be the previous model friend rebranded as rock and run but I dont know for sure that this is still the case. i spoke to a couple of english climbers about them a few years ago and they thought they were good value. i looked at getting some while in england about 3 or 4 years ago. At the time they didnt have forged cam stops while the current model friend (at the time) did. I ended up buying a couple of the DMM cams which I think are also made in the same factory. they are pretty good but i prefer the technical friends. |
