Sox or no sox ? |

I just don't get it..........I wear a pair of thin socklets in my climbing shoes
The pros : My feet don't get slippery
I don't believe they compromise my feel for the rock (I have climbed without)
I can wash 'said' sox so they don't smell like hell (unlike sockless shoes)
The cons : Being ridiculed for being the only one wearing sox in the gym or crag
Apart from the obvious (all the hard men/women don't wear sox) can someone explain to me why I seem to be out of step with this current trend. |
