Ive tried to find the range guide on the kong website but got frustrated,

Was wondering what the sizes 0 and .5 relate to in BD and/or Alien sizing

I thought from the subject that this would be some sort of Japanese monster movie. Maybe with King Kong, standing at the trough with Godzilla, doing a 'size comparison'.

Orright(!) ~> Here is my chance to hijack the thread into a techno-nerd-argument!

Have you considered cam angles? or Optimal placement range vs actual placement range?
What about the softness of the metal? or appropriateness of thickness of material to the rock medium it is intended to use them in?
How much do they weigh if extendable slings are fitted as standard?

yes I did, but came to the conclusion I couldnt give a sh!t :)

in reality Im trying to sell my Kong cams to uni students who can only relate cam sizes to BD gear. It has been too hard to try to explain that BD cam sizes are not universal, So im trying to work out the equivilant, but concidering that both the camming range of the Kong 0 and 0.5 are included in both BD .3 and .4. its proving to be difficult.

Just polish them and show them 1st hand to the potential buyers.

Those that don't will look and either say "yep that size looks about right" or "nah it is too big/small"
~> Can always use the spiel that for long same-size cracks one can't have too many for pro! ... or they make great leaver pieces compared to the expensive BD ones if you need to bail !

It was tongue in cheek hero, however here is one to keep you happy!

Did you hear about the fellah who went to the fancy dress party wearing a plastic bag over his head?

I actually think that the BD cam sizes are becoming more the 'universal' size in Australia - maybe because their cams are now much cheaper (relatively) then they used to be.

Or the fellow that turned up at a fancy dress party where the theme was "medical complaints" in nothing but his underwear.

"So what medical complaint are you?" asked the host.

"Premature ejaculation" he replied... "I've just come in my pants".

There was another fancy dress party where the theme was emotions. Halfway through the party, there was a knock at the door. The host looks out and sees a pair of guys standing on the front porch, naked. One had his penis in a pear and the other had his penis in a bowl of custard. The host says "Didn't you read the invite? I said to come dressed as emotions"

One of them replies "We did! I'm deep in dis-pear" and the other says "I'm f--king dis-custard"

We could make it happen. All we need to do is host a fancy dress party and find some way to secure the bowl...
