I have a free standing in my back yard (see woodie post in gear lust)
It works verry well and is not concreted in it just sits there with supports. It is made entirely from wood. The suports are laminate pine (very strong unless wet) frame work is mainly pine studs. To keep it water proof I have put some 2nd hand laserlite on top and will on the back as well eventually. I used some 10mm pebble as the base wich creates a clean and softer spot for the futon materesses wich form my crash mats.
Just used a bit of high school carpentry and many beers! |
