So long as 60% of the production value of the product is done in the US then they can label it as 'Made in USA' ie. have the parts stamped/forged/machined/whatever in asia or where ever and then assembled and proof tested in the States. If the company deems that 60% of the value in the product is from assembly and testing then they can put the label on. These days though I have no problem with made in say Taiwan. The bicycle industry has shown that quality and consistancy out of Taiwan is generally better than anywhere else, this is mid to high end stuff. Some of the low end crap that comes out of there is crazy.
