re the la sportivas.
i take 43.5 in the trangos and needed to get 44s in the spantiks because they didnt make half sizes in the spantiks.
adrian - i used my spantiks on cho oyu 8200m. i did use a pair of super gaiters on them and they were warm enough just i reckon. slightly chilly for an hour or two on summit morning but all ok. i have all my toes.
anything below 8000 would be perfect.
