Don't see a chiro until you see a Medical Proffessional and get a diagnosis.

There are some great chiros out there, but have encountered some seriously damaged people post a session at the chiropractors.

Having someone jumping on your back when it is badly damaged is not always a good thing.

Anti-imflamatories and Valium (people get addicted to the happy sensation, it is not physiologicaly addictive like other drugs. Current practice is to NOT prescribe Valium for back pain, as there is no clinical evidence to back it up... however it does work, so I am in favour of it) are both good. Both will help you recover - but only if YOU help you recover! Avoid sitting, rest your back, gentle stretching, heat packs can help too. Perhaps look into whether you can lie across the back seat of the car when driving long distances.
