eek. Wonder what route/crag? Doesn't sound like the body was a climber, just found by a
climber.

Considering what bodies smell like,
you should be worried about the condition of his rope. I hope he didn't puke on it.

It wasn't below "Plunging Grandmas" was it? Mikl has quite a story behind that name!

Not always smelly, I didn't notice any unsual odours from the body I found in Nowra and the forensic guy suggested due to the decomposition he was already dead for 4-6 weeks. The detectives did say things would be different once they had to transport the corpse out which I fortunately didn't witness...

The foot I found on a glacier in NZ was very un-smelly, in fact I just put it in my pack and handed it in to the local constabulary when I got back to civilization. It was rather old though - maybe 20 years? Mummified...

My brush was with somebody too long in the trunk of a late model sedan under a hot
desert sun. We did not even need to open the trunk to know what was in it. There was
plenty of puking and retching to go around on that occasion.

I once saw the aftermath of a bicycle courier who thought he'd take a shortcut under a bus doing 45kph down Macquarie St in Sydney. No smell there, but boy was there a lot of blood!

What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas...
On a dirt track just off I-15 between Vegas and LA. Just bad luck that we stumbled on a
abandoned sedan on our way out in to the desert.
But hell, I want to know why Neil turned it in. What a great center piece and conversation
starter.

Not so much 'booty' as 'footy'... good job you didn't find it at the glen...

My only encounter with bodies were those slowly being taken apart in the dissection room
at uni and yea those ones smell but thats also thanks to fumes of the formaldehyde. The
brains were still nice and squishy though, like bags of jelly!

Hopefully Sabu, one day you may develop a relationship with a person/animal of your prefered gender and you'll find lots of nice things about bodies!

Those 'bodies' that people are referring to.
