Interesting interpretation. My beef here is not with safety, but the sueing culture. I don't believe I ever said climbers safety should be looked after for them by installing abseil points, just that sometimes the installation of them increases safety. People should still look after themselves, abseil points/bolts have been known to fail. Thus should be inspected before use.
