I know nothing about rigging one of these, but it seems like they have effectively one rope.

Is that the usual level of redundancy that it used? Seems a little light on.

There are two ropes in all the footage Im looking at.
What footage are you looking at ?

When ever we have done a bridge swing we have always swung with two ropes, one main rope under load and the other slightly longer as a back up.
Plus you feel safer with two ropes.

Same footage - I see one rope that is taking the load and the other rope is coiled up on their harness and is loose up to the top of the cliff. Seems like there is a gri gri rigged in some of the shots as well.

At 1:06 and 1:12 you can see the second strand tied to a carabiner clipped to the harness.

At 2:06 you can see the rope comes out of the gri-gri/carabiner pair and is coiled. I'd guess so once you've stopped you can uncoil, unclip and then abseil to the ground rather than ascending.
