I know chockstone lives a long way from either Europe or the US, but I also know a bunch of people here are pretty well travelled!

who's up for climbing in Europe or the US mid Sept to early October? I have 3-4 weeks to kill round then, am looking for ideas, don't know eact dates yet... I'm in Canada just now, hence the "either US or Europe" thing. Europe would be preferable, but the US would be a cheap plan B (& I'd have transport in the US).

longer rock routes would be the flavour, I should be climbing up to about 22 (5.11) on lead (trad), maybe a bit harder if I get motivated & get fit again over summer.

Hey James,

I'll be over there with Naomi then (mainly France) with Tarik (French / Moroccan dude living in Canada
- maybe you could hook up with him while you're in Canada?), Paul Tanton (UK), Libby (UK), Joris (Fr),
Achim Gross (Germany), Rose (Dutch), Frank (Germany), Sebastian (Germany) to name a few.

Tarik's details if they are handy are:

Tarik Alj
4175 Laval Avenue
Montreal, Qc H2W2J4

tarik_alj@hotmail.com

Hope to catch you over there.

Hi James,

I really wanted to get to the US or Europe at that time. I really want to do some crack climbing in the states (Indian Creek or Yosemite) or am keen for the Dolomites or some sport at the Frankenjura. I'm climbing about 21-22 on gear. If this sounds any good to you, send me an email to eheiden@els.mq.edu.au.

See you, Erika

do you have a private coach booked joe? ;)

hmmm... Dolomites, Kalymnos, Yosemite all sound good. too many places to go. What about Verdon?

I'd love to get to Indian creek also but I think it might be a bit hot there that time.
