Time for a catch up, at any rate, Mikey. Another picnic date?

Hey mate,
I'd definitely be interested and have time free. Lots of experience climbing trad but never really aid climbed. Happy to play the student and learn.

Sorry PI, but (as you already know) I am unable to participate in the Buffalo Aid-climbing Weekend this year, due to having just arrived home from recently having had significant surgery in Melbourne, and also facing a protracted recovery time from same.
It's a bugga as I was looking forward to it.
lukehh12; You will learn a lot and I encourage you, plus any others interested in dialing efficiency into their aid climbing, to attend if they can, as it's an opportunity to share experience / gain experience and or hands on learning, from those who have gone before.
I was going to put time and effort into promoting the event again this year, but this time around other factors have conspired against that.
I still haven't done a Trip Report from the last one, due waiting for others to fully flesh out theirs beforehand. No matter, I'll use this years trip to update last years for promotion!
PS
I hope the weather is kind to you, as the current forecast isn't looking too good at the moment.
Link to 2016 BAW and previous TR's for inspiration...

For those still interested, given the weather s going to be pretty wet this weekend I suggest we find another date. Sorry I have been quite slow to reply - been fairly preoccupied with new job. Be in contact and we can find another date. PI
