Hi All,

My climbing partner is not able to fly to NZ to give another crack at Aspiring this month or next so I am looking to meet someone who I may be compatible climbing with that can head over to NZ to give Aspiring a crack via the ramp route later this month or sometime in Jan (This month would be better). I would consider flying in but am happy to save the money and walk into French Ridge hut and then to Colin Todd Hut and go for it from there.

Good luck mate! We'd love to come with you but we're taking a break from the mountains this year.

Hopefully things dont go all 'Shutter Hut' on you this time...

Hey, good luck. I wrote a condition report on another thread a few weeks ago.

The rock step at the base of the Ramp was beginning to show when we were there (mid-Nov) and we (NZ) have had some pretty warm temps and several heavy bouts of rain recently so my guess is that it will be starting to get worse. But who knows? Therma route also appears out of condition at rock band.
