Running is for the birds! Went and did my first run in 6 years some 3 weeks ago. Around the 2km mark I started drowning on my own dribble, and by 5km I thought that I was either going swallow my own tongue, or die from internal haemorrhaging. 4 days later (once I was able to walk again - albeit still with some pain) I began to think it had been a bad idea. Never one to learn from my mistakes though, I did the same thing a week later - this time resulting in near paralysis of the lower torso and the complete inability to walk thereafter. Oh yes - what fun.

By comparison, last night I started bouldering again after 3 months off - doing a 25 move traverse 5 times in about an hour. Although repetitive in nature - it was still WAY more entertaining! Don't know how you can do it... It's like comparing a 15m sequential face route to a grade 2 ridge traverse!
