Not a trip report (as yet) but if anyone is interested we'll be posting updates of our progress on www.explorersweb.com starting from the 02/12/04 We are a team of 5 climbers (2 aussie girls, 2 aussie guys + a german guy) heading to Cerro Mercedario 6,770m, Pico Polaco 6,001m & Cerro La Mesa 6,200m in Argentina in a couple of weeks time. We will be attempting the Japanese route on Mercedario's south face, before focusing upon Pico Polaco and Cerro la mesa very few previous ascents on polacos and la mesa, its going to be really interesting... We've got 4 weeks in the region so should be able to do some interesting stuff, i'll post a full trip report when we return dan
