Bold adj., fearless in meeting danger or difficulty, aggressively daring, not shrinking from risk, showing
a courageous daring spirit and contempt of danger (Webster's dictionary).

It seems to me that simey has chosen the correct word to describe that part of the climb. It is best to
assume that the consequences of failure when on a "bold" section of any climb will be painful. JBD
and gfdonc accepted the challenge and succeeded. No problem.

I think while JBD was grappling with WOTAS, I was on the other side of the Watchtower on The
Confession/Skink Connection/Gollum. I thought the hardest climbing was on The Confession and the
scariest bit was the traverse on Skink Connection. I found Gollum relatively cruisy with spaced but
good protection, but I was well warmed up by then.
