Ok, this is probably a good time for a friendly reminder for all, both first-timers and seasoned back-country enthusiasts alike - please pretty please! adhere to minimal impact camping practices, and carry out your rubbish (including poo!) ...and please camp well below the catchment areas of the lakes i.e. below Cub Lake, Blue Lake and tarns ....if you see others do it, it won't harm to remind them not to - I've had to do it plenty of times in the past - it's not just an environmental responsibility we all have, but also disregard for such a simple KNP condition would ruin the reputation of back-country enthusiasts in the eyes of the NP staff.... :-) thank you! :-)))
