This is a bivvy that was used by some climbers doing the Original Route, amazing construction and super weather-tight. It's probably a solid 40 minute bash along the first ledge from Original route though. Does anyone know any history about it?
Most would probably bivvy much closer to the route.

It’s ringing some vague memory bells of something I read a long time ago in bush walking literature about activities around the time of the Dr Dark era.
I will peruse some old Paddy Pallin stuff and see if I trip over anything.
Sydney Rockies (SRCC) might know more?
Then again if Duang Daunk is right, it could just be one of kuu’s cubby houses from his younger years ...

And there is a bivvy on Original Route on the second ledge.
